March 2017 Wrap-Up

In the end, I only read 6 books this month. However, as I head into April, I'm currently reading 3 and listening to the audiobook of 1. So...I'm hopeful that next month's count will be higher.

1.

I loved this book so much. More thoughts in my reviews :)

2.
Title: Candy Ever After
Author: Jo Raven
Rating: 3.5/5 stars
I decided to read this after reading the first one last month (easy decision considering each was only a dollar), and I enjoyed it. I didn't love it, but it was a quick easy read that I enjoyed and was able to get my mind off reality for an hour or so. Again, there wasn't really much substance to this book (like the first one). I have a feeling I would have really really enjoyed this duology if there had been more substance, plot building, and character developments. Also, I am again a little annoyed that this book ended at 30% (like the first one) of the kindle copy (the rest was book 1 and another story from the author). But, I'm overlooking it as I enjoyed these books and the smut that accompanied them :)

3.
Title: Caraval
Author: Stephanie Garber
Rating: 5/5 stars
OMG I loved this book so much. I am so freaking excited that I read this book and I can't wait for the next book! More thoughts in my reviews :)

I loved this book so much that I randomly picked it up again and finished it in one night. I think I liked it even better the second time around. Willa is 100% me.

5.
Title: Groupie
Author: C.M. Stunich
Rating: 3.5/5 stars
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. There was a lot of smut, which I rather enjoyed, and a lot of talk about topics such as troubled pasts, death, and coping methods. A lot of books I read don't focus as heavily on healing and coping methods as this book did, and I enjoyed seeing how the characters coped. It still breaks my heart at some of their coping methods, but I liked seeing them. I am definitely excited for book two coming out in May. So excite, much excite.

6.
Title: Just Married
Author: Nikki Bolvair
Rating: 5/5 stars
I loved this last installment to this series. I wish there was more, but I feel like this was the perfect ending. I know for a fact that between the plot and the incredible guys and the sass and the smut that I will be rereading this series very soon!

And there you have it!
