Rainy Day Book Tag!

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be diving straight into the Rainy Day Book Tag, although it's snowing where I'm at. It's only halfway through April and it's still snowing but I'm not bitter about it (that's a lie). I'm not sure who created this tag and when they did so, but let it be known that I am not the creator. Let's go ahead and jump straight on in so that I can get to all the homework that I've procrastinated this weekend!

~

Question 1: Where do you like to read when it's raining?
Currently while I'm at college, I like to read in my reading nook in my dorm. When I'm at home, though, I like reading in my bed or on the couch if nobody else is home. I generally like to be in pajamas under a blanket on rainy days.

Question 2: Best book to read on a rainy day?

This is a tough one for me because I've never had a specific book that I reach for on rainy days. However, I do like rereading my favorite books. I would probably either reread one or pick up an anticipated read that I can spend a few hours on.

Question 3: Book with rain? In the book or on the cover?
I forget which book in the series that this specific rainy scene happens, but in the Seraph Black series (spoilers ahead) there is a scene where the main character is struggling with her bonds and the main love interests have to kiss her to seal the bond. It's one of my favorite scenes in the books and now I just want to reread them!

Question 4: Book that made you cry?
There are a lot of these so it's pretty easy to chose from. I'm going to name a few: Empire of Storms, Darkness Descends, A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin, All Quiet on the Western Front, Tower of Dawn, Illuminae, Gemina, Finders Keep Her, Lady Midnight, Hell on Wheels, Ryan's Bed, and plenty more. I cry at pretty much everything: sad stuff, happy stuff, funny stuff, etc, so there's a lot for me to chose from.

Question 5: Least favorite book?
I didn't really have an answer for this when I first read it but now that I'm thinking about it, I have a few to talk about: Under Fire by Henri Barbusse, A Wild and Unremarkable Thing by Jen Castleberry, and one about the Salem witch trials that I can't remember the title of but read in high school for a research paper. I generally DNF books if I'm really hating them, but I had to either read these for classes or review, and I just don't have fond memories of these books. That's pretty much all I have to say.

~

Question 6: Favorite drink for a rainy day?
I'm not a big drink person and I usually stick to water. I'd probably have just a bottle of water nearby while reading, though I might make myself hot chocolate if I took a break from reading or wanted something sweet for watching Netflix.

That's pretty much it for this book tag! I hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you on Wednesday for another Top 5 Wednesday post!
xoxo
